Social Issues

Galilee Lutheran Church wishes to acknowledge and honor the Pomo and Onasatis people upon whose ancestral land we gather.

The God we encounter in scripture is passionate about merciful justice for those who are vulnerable, oppressed, or strangers in any way (and even for the land itself). Galilee Lutheran Church has a practice of studying and seeking to grow in justice. You will find this reflected in our affirmation of our LGBTQIA+ siblings, and in the studies we've begun about racial justice. Please contact us if you're interested in joining in these conversations.
