Holy Week with Galilee: April 13-20, 2025

Did you know that one third of the Gospel message is focused on Jesus’ trial, death and resurrection? In these key moments, Christians understand the demands and promises of the Christian life. These days tell the story of an event that changed the world.

You are invited to journey through the days of Holy Week at Galilee Lutheran Church this year. We will accompany one another to that upper room on the night before Jesus’ death. Pray at the foot of the cross. Shout the great Alleluia!

Join Pastor Julie during this election season to learn more about Christian Nationalism and the harm it can do.  We'll meet on Zoom for 4 sessions to consider how we can love our country without making an idol out of it.

Growing old happens automatically.  Becoming a wise elder, a blessing to the community, is a whole different process.  Join a conversation about what it takes to "grow up in every way into Christ", as scripture says.  We'll share videos, maybe some books, and group reflection.  This conversation will begin in April, and continue as schedule permits later in the year.  Go here for the Zoom link.

What a wonderful legacy we have in Christ as people of faith!  We have a treasure to share with future generations.  On Sunday, June 23, join us for worship and a picnic.  We will:

• explore financial stewardship and generosity, 
• establish a mission endowment fund, and 
• sponsor some repairs to our Community Center.

As the old campfire song says,
